Tony Gallegos Dies in Forklift Accident on Moraga Drive near Bellagio Road

 
BEL AIR, CA (April 17, 2024) — Tony Gallegos died after being struck by a forklift that toppled over on Moraga Drive near Bellagio Road.
 
According to Los Angeles Fire Department officials, the deadly construction site accident happened around 1:00 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a construction worker was carrying steel rebar when the forklift toppled over onto him.
 
Subsequently, fire officials responded to the scene, locating 42-year-old Gallegos. Due to his grave state, they performed life-saving measures. However, their efforts fell short, and the worker succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner identified him shortly after.
