Motorcyclist Dead after Gardena Accident on Normandie Avenue

 
GARDENA, CA (January 31, 2024) – A man died in a motorcycle accident on Normandie Avenue, Saturday evening.
 
According to the Gardena Police Department, the incident happened on January 27, at about 8:25 p.m. A vehicle reportedly made a left turn in front of a northbound motorcyclist in the 14500 block of Normandie Avenue.
 
Emergency crews transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital, where he later died. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
