Man Killed in Head-On Accident on Fifth Street at South Wolff Road [Oxnard, CA]

Head-On Crash on Fifth Street east of Oxnard Leaves 1 Dead

 
OXNARD, CA (April 3, 2023) – – A man was killed in a head-on accident on Fifth Street east of Oxnard city limits Friday evening on March 31.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:35 p.m. at South Wolff Road. The site is between Del Norte Boulevard and Pleasant Valley Road on Fifth, also known as Highway 34, as it cuts through agricultural properties on the Oxnard Plain. According to the CHP and Ventura County Fire Department, two vehicles collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
Oxnard Fire Department crews responded and assisted two patients.
 
A man believed to be in his 30s died at the scene. He was not yet identified.
 
A female patient suffered minor injuries.
 
No other information was immediately available. Further investigation is underway.
