1 Dead on Broadside Crash on 10th Street in Antioch

 
ANTIOCH, CA (April 16, 2024) — A man died in a broadside accident on 10th Street and Auto Center Drive.
 
According to Antioch Police officers, the two-vehicle crash happened around 4:00 p.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a 30-year-old man operating a northbound vehicle on Auto Center Drive entered the intersection at a high rate of speed. Subsequently, his vehicle collided with a westbound Lexus occupied by two 33-year-old women.
 
Soon after, paramedics and police responded to render emergency medical aid. However, the 30-year-old died at the scene. Officials have not released his name.
 
Following the crash, paramedics ushered the two women to a hospital for treatment.
