Car Slams into Truck in Accident on Highway 94 at College Avenue in Lemon Grove

 
LEMON GROVE, CA (November 11, 2021) – A man suffered injuries in an accident on Highway 94 on November 5.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at College Avenue at approximately 4:00 AM.
 
Based on an initial report, a delivery truck was traveling on the highway when the driver felt an impact hit the vehicle. After stopping, he saw a car wedged under the back of his truck.
 
As a result, the driver of the car sustained a head injury. Using the Jaws of Life, it took responding firefighters about 40 minutes to extricate the victim from the wreckage. Immediately, crews transported the victim to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment.
 
At this point, the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
