Laura Kettel Detained After Police Pursuit Accident, Theft in Stolen Tow Truck on Highway 101 and Highway 85

 
REDWOOD CITY, CA (April 24, 2024) — Laura Kettel faces multiple charges following Friday’s police chase that resulted in an accident on Highway 101.
 
According to Redwood City Police, the lengthy pandemonium happened around 6:00 p.m. Friday. While responding to reports of a stolen tow truck from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Redwood City, police found the vehicle in San Carlos. Subsequently, officers tried stopping the driver, but 35-year-old Kettel refused and struck two patrol vehicles, injuring one officer.

Now, the Monterey woman remains incarcerated in the Maguire Correctional Facility for a variety of charges.
