Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on 805 Freeway in City Heights

 
CITY HEIGHTS, CA (March 16, 2023) — A man died in a motorcycle accident on the 805 Freeway near the 15 Freeway Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal motorcycle crash happened around 11:10 a.m. For unknown reasons, the 23-year-old man riding northbound on the 805 Freeway lost control of his blue and black Kawasaki. Subsequently, he struck the center median and was ejected onto an embankment between the two highways.
 
The unidentified man died at the scene.
 
At this time, CHP is waiting for a toxicology report from the San Diego County Medical Examiners’ Office to identify if drugs or alcohol played a factor. If anyone has more information, please contact the CHP.
