Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver at La Brea Avenue in Hollywood

 
HOLLYWOOD, CA (September 25, 2023) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at La Brea Avenue and Sunset Boulevard.
 
According to the Los Angeles police, the deadly hit-and-run happened around 1:24 a.m. Sunday.
 
Under unconfirmed circumstances, a blue 2022-2023 Chevy Corvette driver struck a male pedestrian at the intersection. The driver of the Chevy left the scene without rendering aid to the victim.
 
Shortly after, officers and paramedics reached the area, but the man passed away from his injuries.
 
Authorities do not have information on the Corvette or the driver, who authorities believe was racing a white sedan prior to the impact. However, they do suspect speed to have played a role in the fatal accident.
