Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash at Sherman Way in Reseda

 
RESEDA, CA (April 17, 2024) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at Sherman Way and Etiwanda Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the deadly hit-and-run happened around 9:00 p.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a male pedestrian in his 60s fell to the ground while walking in a marked crosswalk. Subsequently, a driver of a dark-colored sedan moving eastbound on Sherman Way struck him at an unknown speed. However, instead of helping the victim, the driver continued eastbound on Sherman Way.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded but the victim died from his injuries. Officials have not released his name pending notification of family members.
