1 Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash at Seventh Avenue in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (April 17, 2024) — One person was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at Seventh Avenue and Walnut Street.
 
According to news reports, the hit-and-run happened on April 14 around 7:53 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of an unknown vehicle struck a person near Gator’s Sports Bar and Grill. Subsequently, the motorist left the scene, failing to help the victim.
 
Soon after, the San Bernardino County Fire Department arrived and requested a helicopter to airlift the victim to the Hesperia Airport and a trauma center.
 
Meanwhile, Hesperia officers closed the area to investigate the crash and seek clues related to the driver or vehicle involved.
