SONORA, CA (September 25, 2023) – Major injuries were sustained in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 108 in Sonora Friday afternoon on September 22.
 
The accident happened around 2:20 p.m. near the intersection with Draper Mine Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a GMC Sierra pickup collided with a GMC Terrain SUV in unclear circumstances.
 
Responding officers requested ambulance for occupants who suffered major injuries. The number of injured patients was not immediately known.
