Juliette Espinoza Detained After Deputy Crash at Magnolia Avenue and Mission Gorge Road

 
SANTEE, CA (January 9, 2024) — Juliette Espinoza faces an arrest after a deputy crashed at Magnolia Avenue and Mission Gorge Road on Monday.
 
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the car accident happened around 11:30 a.m. In an attempt to get 21-year-old Espinoza to Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility, a deputy crashed his vehicle into a black Honda. Per reports, the officer activated his emergency lights, rushing to the facility because Espinoza had escaped out of her seatbelt restraint and grown aggressive.
 
Fortunately, the Honda driver and deputy did not report an injury, but a Honda passenger reported leg abrasions. As for Espinoza, she faces an added charge of attempting to escape despite her previous drug-related crime.
