Two Vehicles Collide on North Woodman Avenue in Van Nuys Injuring 6 People and Leaving 2 in Critical Condition

 
VAN NUYS, CA (January 9, 2024) – Six people, including a child, were injured in a two-vehicle accident on North Woodman Avenue in Van Nuys Saturday afternoon on January 6.
 
The accident happened around 12:51 p.m. just north of Oxnard Street. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, two vehicles collided in the area for unknown reasons.
 
As a result of the crash, six people were hurt and were briefly trapped in the wreckage.
 
Responding firefighter paramedics took five people to a hospital, two of them were listed in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, the sixth patient declined hospital transport.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
