Eight People, Including Children, Sustained Injuries in School Bus Accident on West 108th Street

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 7, 2022) — Eight people suffered injuries in a school bus crash on West 108th Street on Wednesday, March 2.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened in the 200 block of West 108th Street at about 7:30 p.m.
 
California Highway Patrol said that officers tried to pull the SUV driver over since they believe the vehicle was stolen. That’s when the driver took off and collided into the bus.
 
There were six children on the bus during the incident. Footage showed the children used an emergency exit to escape danger. It did not appear any of them have serious injuries.
 
The driver of the SUV was the only person medics brought to the hospital. Their condition is not yet available.
 
Firefighters said they also found high-voltage wires down in the vicinity.
 
A video from the scene showed the SUV had a damaged windshield and the school bus collided into a pole.
