PALM SPRINGS, CA (March 7, 2022) — Dalron McClain died in an overturned semi-truck accident on the 10 Freeway near Indian Canyon Drive on Friday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal semi-truck accident happened around 11:04 p.m. For unknown reasons, 57-year-old McClain allowed his eastbound commercial truck towing two trailers to hit a parked car on the right shoulder.
 
Subsequently, his truck veered down an embankment and overturned, ejecting him from the vehicle.
 
Soon after, paramedics and investigators arrived and determined that the San Bernardino man was not wearing a seatbelt.
