Driver Hospitalized in Delivery Truck Crash on 15 Freeway in Mission Valley

 
MISSION VALLEY, CA (January 5, 2023) — A driver was injured in a delivery truck accident on the 15 Freeway near the 8 Freeway Tuesday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened before 12:00 p.m. on the northbound 15 Freeway. For unknown reasons, a driver struck an Amazon Prime tractor-trailer, causing the truck to jackknife.
 
Soon after, authorities responded to the scene and closed three of the fast lanes near the crash site. Paramedics also arrived and brought the driver to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
