2 Girls Struck, Injured by Vehicle on Alluvial Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (January 5, 2023) — Two young girls were hit and injured by a car on Alluvial Avenue and Fresno Street.
 
According to Fresno Police, the pedestrian accident happened around 7:45 p.m. Monday. For unknown reasons, three young girls began crossing a crosswalk yet without having the right of way. From there, a driver with a green traffic light struck two of the girls, ages 11 and 13 years old.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel arrived at the scene and transferred the two young juveniles to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the driver and third juvenile stayed at the scene for the investigation.
 
Police do not suspect alcohol or drugs in the accident. Although, if anyone has seen this crash, please call the authorities.
