Dontril Biggs Killed in Bicycle Crash at Pine Ridge Avenue and Jacarilla Road

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (September 2, 2021) — Dontril Biggs died in a bicycle accident at Pine Ridge Avenue and Jacarilla Road Tuesday.
 
According to a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department coroner press release, the crash happened around 12:52 p.m.
 
For reasons that require more investigation, a white Ford van collided with 36-year-old Biggs. In the investigation, officers learned that the driver stopped at the stop sign and proceeded to drive through. However, the Ford collided with the bicyclist heading eastbound as the Ford traveled northbound.
 
Soon after, paramedics transported the Apple Valley man to Providence St. Mary Medical Center where he died shortly after.
 
Meanwhile, the Ford driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
