OXNARD, CA (April 15, 2024) — Antonio Magallanes suffered severe injuries in a motorcycle accident on 3rd Street near Marquita Street.
 
According to the Oxnard Police Department, the motorcycle collision happened on April 11 around 8:27 p.m. For possible speed-related reasons, a motorcycle driven by 50-year-old Antonio Magallanes crashed into a Honda while heading westbound. Subsequently, the Honda driver, identified as Jorge Cruz Bautista, pulled over and waited for the authorities to arrive.
 
Upon responding, paramedics found Magallanes, of Oxnard, with significant injuries and took him to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment. Meanwhile, Bautista stayed and cooperated with police investigators.
