Three-Vehicle Accident on Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley Injures 8 People

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (December 6, 2022) – Eight people sustained injuries in a three-vehicle accident on Bear Valley Road Saturday afternoon on December 3.
 
The accident happened around 2:12 p.m. directly in front of the Tractor Supply located at 20340 Bear Valley Road. According to the Apple Valley Police Department, a blue sedan was traveling down the center divider at a high rate of speed. The driver reportedly swerved into oncoming traffic and crashed into a white SUV and a brown pickup truck.
 
A witness said the driver of the blue sedan then tried to vacate the car with severe mouth trauma.

A total of eight people were injured, including several children. Two of the eight patients were listed in critical condition. The other six sustained minor to moderate injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
