William Odam Dies in Pedestrian Crash on 12th Avenue near Highway 198
HANFORD, CA (January 10, 2022) — William Odam died in a pedestrian accident on 12th Avenue near Highway 198 on Thursday.
According to Hanford police officers, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 6:15 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, 79-year-old Odam began crossing the street westbound on 12th Avenue. As a result, a vehicle struck him just after a motorcyclist nearly hit him.
Odam suffered fatal wounds in the crash.
Following the accident, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police. At this time, authorities have not confirmed the ultimate liabilities and circumstances of the crash. However, anyone with information should contact the authorities.
