Head Injuries Sustained in Dirt Bike Accident on Highway 371 in Anza

 
ANZA, CA (January 10, 2022) – Paramedics airlifted one person to the hospital following a dirt bike accident in the 50100 block of Highway 371 on January 3.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Cahuilla Creek Motocross around 10:40 AM.
 
Based on a report, the rider was riding a dirt bike at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the bike overturned on the race track.
 
As a result, the rider suffered a head injury in the incident. The Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene. Shortly after, a medivac helicopter reached the track and airlifted the victim to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar.
 
At this point, the CHP is still investigating the case. Also, no further details are currently available.
