2 People Die in 2-Car Crash on Jackson Road in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 15, 2023) — Two people died in a head-on accident on Jackson Road near Excelsior Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle collision happened around 8:20 p.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, a man driving an eastbound Ford F-250 on Jackson Road entered the opposing lane. Subsequently, the Ford veered into the path of a westbound Chrysler Town and Country occupied by one adult female passenger and one male driver. Both vehicles collided head-on near Excelsior Road.
 
Soon after, Metro Fire of Sacramento arrived to assist the injured but found the Chrysler occupants with fatal injuries. The Ford driver suffered minor injuries and was not believed to be impaired during the accident.
