LAKELAND VILLAGE, CA (January 9, 2023) — Two people were injured in a 2-car accident on Grand Avenue at Fairmont Lane Friday morning.
 
According to Cal Fire-Riverside County Fire Department, the two-vehicle collision happened at approximately 11:38 a.m. For unknown reasons, two cars crashed, trapping two people inside one vehicle.
 
Arriving crews worked to free the pair from the wreckage and ushered them to a hospital by ground ambulance.
 
One person suffered major injuries, and another sustained moderate wounds.
