Two Cars Collide at Kiowa and Racheria Roads in Apple Valley Leaving Two People in Critical Condition

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (March 4, 2024) – Two people were critically injured in a two-car accident at Kiowa Road and Rancheria Road in Apple Valley on Sunday evening.
 
The accident happened around 7:12 p.m. on March 3. According to the Apple Valley Police Department, a white KIA Optima and a gray Ford SUV collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
 
Emergency workers with the Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded and found two people with critical injuries. A third person only sustained minor injuries.
 
The critically injured patients were then airlifted to trauma centers for treatment.
 
The third patient was taken to a local hospital.
 
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident and factors involved.
