18-Year-Old Dies in Tulare County Skateboard Crash on Road 80

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (May 6, 2021) — An 18-year-old man died in a skateboard accident on Road 80 at Highway 201 Tuesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly incident happened around 9:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a Ford pickup struck the skateboarder as the teen skateboarded across the intersection.
 
As a result of the accident, the 18-year-old man died from his injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
 
At this time, authorities have ruled out impairment as a possible source of the crash. Although, if anyone has more information, please contact the authorities.
