Person Hospitalized in Fresno Pedestrian Crash near Copper River Trailhead

 
FRESNO, CA (May 6, 2021) — A person suffered several injuries in a pedestrian accident near Copper River Trailhead and Friant Road Wednesday morning.
 
According to Fresno police, the crash happened near Friant Road and Copper Avenue in North Fresno. Under unclear conditions, a pickup truck hauling landscape equipment on a trailer struck one of two pedestrians near the trailhead. Per reports, the driver tried making a right turn when the accident took place.
 
Soon after, emergency personnel arrived and shuttled the victim to a hospital in an unknown condition.
