One Person Dead in Fontana Multi-Car Crash on 210 Freeway

 
FONTANA, CA (May 6, 2021) — One person died in a multi-car accident on the 210 Freeway near Citrus Avenue Wednesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 2:35 a.m. and prompted a SigAlert. Under unknown circumstances, several cars — including a semi-truck and a white Tesla — collided. Due to the nature of the crash, the semi-truck overturned and spilled a heap load of sand onto the westbound lanes.
 
Tragically, one person died. At this time, authorities have not confirmed the events that took place before the accident. Although, if any witnesses would like to help the authorities, please contact the CHP.
