Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Car on 101 Freeway in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 12, 2023) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on the 101 Freeway near Los Angeles Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 5:00 a.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, a driver of an unknown vehicle struck a person. The victim suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
 
Soon after, police officers arrived at the southbound side of the freeway to investigate. They blocked three southbound lanes to canvas the scene for clues as to what led to the crash.
