BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 28, 2023) — One person suffered major injuries in a car accident on Oswell Street near Highway 178.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened around 4:16 p.m. Monday. For unknown reasons, at least one car crashed on Oswell Street near the Highway 178 westbound on-ramp.
