1 Person Killed After Driver Slams Into Fence on Rose Avenue in Taft

 
TAFT, CA (May 30, 2023) — One person died after a car crashed into a fence on Rose Avenue near Wood Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly single-vehicle crash happened around 1:00 p.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, a driver of a Ford -150 pickup truck lost control and crashed into a fence in the 400 block of Rose Avenue.
 
A person inside the vehicle passed away in the accident. Authorities did not say what led to the crash or the factors that contributed to it. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm any ambiguous details.
