One Airlifted in Rollover Accident on 15 Freeway near Halloran Springs Road [Baker, CA]

Rollover Crash on 15 Freeway in Baker Sends One Person to Hospital

 
BAKER, CA (May 30, 2023) – One person was airlifted after a rollover accident on 15 Freeway in Baker Saturday afternoon on May 27.
 
The accident happened around 4:51 p.m. at Halloran Springs Road. According to the San Bernardino Fire Department, a brown Toyota sedan was traveling southbound on the freeway when it rolled over.
 
Rescue crews requested a medical helicopter to transport one patient with unspecified injuries.
 
Mercy Air helicopter then took the patient to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
 
The driver of the Toyota was reported to be speeding and driving recklessly prior to the crash. Officers also believed the driver was under the influence.
 
An investigation into this crash is underway.
