SANTA ANA, CA (May 8, 2023) — At least one person was injured in a multi-car accident on the 55 Freeway near Dyer Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the four-vehicle crash happened around 10:33 a.m. Friday. For an unknown reason, four cars crashed on the southbound side of the freeway.
 
Of those involved, one person reported injuries in the incident.
 
Due to the crash, officials had to issue a Sigalert at 10:52 a.m. since the three lanes were blocked.
