1 Hurt in Motorcycle Crash at Skyline Drive in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 26, 2024) — One person suffered severe injuries in a motorcycle accident at Skyline Drive and Omeara Street.
 
According to San Diego Police officers, the motorcycle crash happened around 4:45 p.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, a 24-year-old man operating a gray and black 2023 Suzuki 750 motorcycle drove eastbound through a red traffic light. Subsequently, the Suzuki collided with a silver 2012 Mercedes C250 that was making a westbound turn onto Skyline Drive from O’Meara Street on a green light.
 
Minutes later, emergency personnel arrived and found the severely injured motorcycle rider. Paramedics brought him to a hospital with a brain bleed and a collapsed lung.
