SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (February 26, 2024) — A man suffered severe injuries in a pedestrian accident on Madonna Road near Highway 101.
 
According to San Luis Obispo police, the pedestrian accident happened on February 22 around 7:10 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a car struck a pedestrian outside a crosswalk in the 200 block of Madonna Road.
 
Subsequently, San Luis Obispo police officers showed up to find the man on the road with serious injuries. Shortly after, paramedics took him to a hospital where the 37-year-old San Luis Obispo man remains in recovery.
