OTAY VALLEY, CA (February 26, 2024) — One person suffered injuries in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident on Beyer Boulevard near Kaanapali Way.
 
According to the San Diego Police, the motorcycle crash happened Thursday before 10:00 a.m. For an unknown reason, a driver did not yield to a northbound 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle while turning onto Beyer Boulevard from Kaanapali Way.
 
Subsequently, the 29-year-old man lost control of his Kawasaki motorcycle and crashed. Shortly after, San Diego police officers arrived at 2200 Beyer Blvd to find the motorcyclist with non-life-threatening injuries and the other driver unaccounted for.
 
According to investigators, neither vehicle made contact with the other, but an investigation into the precise details is underway.
