Early Morning Crash on 10 Freeway in West Covina Kills 1 and Injures Another

 
WEST COVINA, CA (August 29, 2022) – One person died and another was injured in a car accident on 10 Freeway in West Covina early Sunday, August 28.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:00 a.m. at the Vincent Avenue off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, one vehicle carrying two people was traveling westbound on the freeway when it crashed in unclear circumstances.
 
Both occupants were ejected from the vehicle. First responders performed life-saving aid to the victims, but one of them died at the scene.
 
Paramedics then took the second patient to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
No identifying information is available at time. The exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
