Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Hit-and-Run Driver on Rosedale Highway in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 25, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Rosedale Highway in Bakersfield early Saturday morning on July 23.
 
The fatal crash happened around 12:02 a.m. at Gibson Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist and a vehicle collided in unclear circumstances. The impact sent the motorcyclist down on the roadway.
 
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
First responders found the motorcyclist lying on the ground with severe injuries. They attempted saving him, but the victim died at the scene.
