Two-Vehicle Accident on Alba Road in Santa Cruz County Kills At Least One

 
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA (July 25, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Alba Road in Santa Cruz County on Saturday afternoon, July 23.
 
The accident happened around 3:17 p.m. just west of Ben Lomond and Brookdale. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Toyota 4Runner collided with another vehicle for unknown reasons.
 
Firefighters responded and provided CPR on at least one patient. Sadly, that patient did not survive and was declared dead at the scene.
 
Authorities withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
