Elderly Man Suffers Major Injuries after Hit by Vehicle on Tank Farm Road in SLO

 
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (July 19, 2022) – An 80-year-old man was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on Tank Farm Road on Saturday afternoon, July 16.
 
The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection with Morning Glory Way. According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, the elderly man was walking from the south sidewalk of Tank Farm, crossing all lanes of traffic, when a vehicle heading westbound on Tank Farm Road struck him.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and rushed the man to a local hospital with major injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.
