Teen Father of 8-Month Old Suffers Critical Injuries after Struck by Car at Vallejo Sideshow

 
VALLEJO, CA (July 12, 2022)Tyler Ingersoll was critically injured after he was hit by a car while watching a sideshow in Vallejo on Sunday, July 3.
 
Ingersoll was an onlooker of the illegal sideshow near Six Flags Amusement Park. According to police, about 200 cars were involved in the event and one car struck the victim during the sideshow.
 
The impact caused Ingersoll to land on his head. He suffered traumatic brain injuries and is in critical condition. He is 19-year-old father of an 8-month-old daughter.
 
Meanwhile, the involved car fled the scene after crash. Authorities described it as a black Mustang with silver rims.
 
A GoFundMe was created to help with Ingersoll’s medical expenses.
 
Further investigation is underway.
