Traffic Accident on 405 Freeway in Van Nuys Involving 8 Cars and 1 Big Rig Injures Two People

 
VAN NUYS, CA (March 23, 2022) – Two people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident on 405 Freeway in Van Nuys on Friday morning.
 
The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. on March 18 along the southbound lanes of the 405 Freeway near Victory Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision involved at least eight cars and one big rig.
 
Paramedics immediately responded and transported two people to a hospital. One of the patients sustained minor injuries, while the other’s condition was unknown.
 
At this time, it is unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision. Further investigation is underway.
