15-Year-Old Angel Hernandez Pushed into Traffic, Struck by Tesla in Hemet

 
HEMET, CA (March 2, 2022) — Angel Hernandez suffered critical injuries after being pushed into traffic and hit by an oncoming car near Stetson Avenue and Seven Hills Drive.
 
According to reports, the incident happened on Monday around 4:30 p.m. while 15-year-old Angel Botello Hernandez was riding his skateboard. Under unclear circumstances, Hernandez purportedly engaged in some type of altercation with a group of young people. Subsequently, the altercation escalated and at least one individual pushed Hernandez into the traffic lanes where a Tesla struck him.
 
Shortly after, paramedics reached the scene and brought him to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Meanwhile, the driver of the white Tesla stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
