Oletha Durham Arrested in Deadly Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Stockton Boulevard at Fruitridge Road

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (January 3, 2022) — Oletha Durham faces charges in Sunday’s fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Stockton Boulevard at Fruitridge Road.
 
According to the Sacramento Police, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 1:20 a.m. Upon responding to the scene, police found a critically injured pedestrian and began administering first aid. However, despite these persistent efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries.
 
Soon after, authorities found Durham in a stolen car close to the crash scene and arrested the 33-year-old.
 
At this time, authorities have not released the victim’s name and details of the crash. Although, anyone with more information should contact the Sacramento Police Department’s Major Collision Investigations Unit.
