CORNING, CA (September 27, 2021) — Ken Ahl suffered major injuries in a pedestrian accident on Solano Street at Peach Street Friday night.
 
According to Corning police, the incident happened around 8:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, 19-year-old Reyna Pamela Jamaica-Angeles failed to yield to 58-year-old Ahl who was crossing the street. As a result, the Corning woman’s vehicle struck Ahl and his black Labrador Retriever.
 
Due to the accident, Ahl suffered major injuries, including several broken bones, and sought treatment at Enloe Medical Center in Chico.
 
Meanwhile, his dog sustained minor injuries in the accident and the driver was uninjured.
