Rider Dies after Colliding with Vehicle at 90th Street West and Avenue F-4 in Lancaster

 
LANCASTER, CA (August 26, 2021) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident at 90th Street West and Avenue F-4 in Lancaster Tuesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:15 p.m. on August 24. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a vehicle at the intersection. The impact caused him severe injuries.
 
Responding paramedics attempted saving the motorcyclist, but he died at the scene.
 
Authorities only identified the man as a 31-year-old Lancaster resident. They withheld his name pending notification of his family members.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
 
At this time, it is unknown if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
