Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Fourth Street in Ontario

 
ONTARIO, CA (August 26, 2021) – One person died in a pedestrian accident at Fourth Street and Milliken Avenue.
 
The accident happened around 8:16 p.m. on Saturday, August 21. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking in the area when at least one vehicle struck them.
 
Police and firefighters responded to the scene, and located the pedestrian with severe injuries. Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to a hospital, where the victim later died.
 
The identity of the pedestrian was not immediately available.
 
At this time, it is unclear if the involved driver has stayed at the scene after the crash. It is also unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the accident.
