Man Dies in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on Cactus Road

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 19, 2021) — A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Cactus Road at Otay Mesa Road Thursday afternoon.
 
According to the San Diego Police, the 42-year-old motorcyclist was stopped at a red traffic light at the intersection. For unknown reasons, a driver in a 2008 Ford F-150 rear-ended his Honda Cargo 150.
 
As a result, the unidentified rider sustained grave injuries and died at Scripps Mercy Hospital shortly after.
 
At this time, reports have not clearly specified if police cited or charged the 71-year-old driver. However, the crash remains under investigation.
