Yates Brooks Involved in Deadly Head-On Motorcycle Accident in Kern County

 
KERN COUNTY, CA (June 27, 2022) — Yates Brooks was involved in a fatal head-on motorcycle crash on Highway 178 at Democrat Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal head-on collision happened around 6:27 p.m. on Thursday.
 
Upon receiving word of the accident, CHP officers and medical personnel responded to the scene and found a 64-year-old motorcyclist with fatal injuries.
 
It appears 49-year-old Brooks crashed his westbound 2010 Ford Edge into the eastbound motorcycle rider who had entered his lane.
 
Due to the impact, the motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and died at the scene.
 
At this time, reports included no information on the victim’s identity and if Brooks reported any wounds. At this time, investigators will look into the details of this accident. Although, anyone with information can call the authorities.
