Woman, Son Hospitalized in Rollover Crash on Highway 101 near Padre Juan Canyon Road

 
VENTURA, CA (December 15, 2022) — A woman and her son were injured in a rollover accident on Highway 101 near Padre Juan Canyon Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car accident happened around 1:50 p.m. Sunday. For unknown reasons, a 46-year-old Carpinteria woman piloting a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe lost control. As a result, her vehicle rolled over multiple times and came to a stop in between a construction split on Highway 101. The identified woman was ejected at some point during the crash.
 
Soon after, paramedics arrived and brought the woman and her 19-year-old male passenger, described as her son, to Ventura County Medical Center.
 
As of Monday, Sgt. Michael Untalan did not have an update on the condition of the victims. Although, we will update this report once we receive more information.
